The Kiwi Cove story

A place shaped
by what grows here.

Ladysmith · Vancouver Island

Ten acres between
orchard and ocean.

Kiwi Cove Lodge is not a generic hotel dropped beside a view. The vineyard, gardens, shoreline, and easy-going lodge have grown into one distinct place—close to town and the airport, but calm enough to feel away from it all.

Since 1997

The vines that
gave the cove its name.

The kiwi vineyard was planted in 1997 and remains one of the property’s defining features. Mature vines create shaded paths and leafy gathering places, bringing a working-landscape character to the lodge.

That story should lead the brand: not a novelty fruit logo, but a living sense of place expressed through leaf forms, cove lines, natural colour, and generous photography.

The feeling

Close enough.
Quiet enough.

Stay near Ladysmith, Chemainus, Nanaimo, trails, beaches, and ferries—then come back to the cove when the day is done. The location makes short stays easy and longer Island explorations feel grounded.
